Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 2025 • National Travels (N.T.R Sabir Ahmed Khan Associates)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By commissioning services, signing a fleet charter contract, submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP), or utilizing vehicles operated by National Travels ("Company," "we," or "us"), the client institution, enterprise, or individual passenger agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Fleet Standards & Regulatory Compliance

All vehicles deployed by National Travels comply strictly with:

  • Supreme Court of India safety guidelines for educational institutional transit.
  • Karnataka Motor Vehicle Rules, valid RTO fitness certificates, and state commercial permits.
  • Functional AIS-140 standard GPS telemetry, dual-facing CCTV cameras, and electronic speed governors calibrated to statutory limits (40–60 km/h depending on vehicle class).
  • Regular preventive maintenance and sanitization cycles conducted at our Central Operations Depot.

3. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Backup Readiness

National Travels commits to a 99% on-time dispatch rate across all dedicated route runs. In the unforeseen event of mechanical difficulty or road obstruction:

  • Our 24/7 Live Central Command triggers immediate telemetry alerts.
  • A standby backup bus or alternate vehicle from our decentralized staging hubs is dispatched immediately to minimize route delay.
  • Route coordinators maintain live communication with client transport desks.

4. Client & Passenger Responsibilities

To ensure safe and punctual operations, clients and passengers agree to:

  • Adhere to designated pickup and drop schedules without unreasonable delays that affect subsequent runs.
  • Refrain from smoking, consuming alcohol, or carrying hazardous substances on board all vehicles.
  • Respect onboard staff, drivers, and female attendants who are deployed for passenger assistance and security.

5. Invoicing, Payments & Cancellation

Commercial contracts, annual school transit retainers, and single-event charters are governed by the following commercial stipulations:

  • Invoices are issued according to the billing cycle outlined in the specific Master Service Agreement (MSA).
  • Charter cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled reporting time to avoid standard mobilization fees.
  • Toll taxes, parking charges, and interstate border permit fees are billed as actuals unless explicitly bundled into the contractual rate.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

While National Travels exercises utmost operational rigor, we shall not be held liable for transit delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather events, civil unrest, sudden road closures by civil authorities, or natural disasters.
